High temp silicone oil is an extremely efficient and valuable building block of many industrial products. One of the valuable properties of silicone oil is its excellent thermal stability. Silicone oils can function and perform as designed at temperatures as high as 200 °C. Because silicone oil is a chemically unique structure, it is fairly inert. Silicone oil will not break down and will not allow products to fall to a lowest common denominator. Aging will not affect oil’s performance. The oil is of tremendous value to the automotive, aerospace, and electronics, as products become of a higher quality and efficiency.

The burgeoning, and necessary, demand for high temp silicone oils is not harmful to the environment, and the formulation can be used in lubricants, sealants, and coatings.
